Clean up at Powhatan State Park

Hello Pack 1832,

Come out to Powhatan Sate Park on Saturday, March 3rd for a full day of Service, Food, and Fun!

We have been asked by the Chief Park Ranger to help clean up an old cemetery.  We will meet in the Playground parking lot at 10:00am and work until about Noon.  The Park officials would like this to be a historical area for visitors to experience.  We will be working with the other two Powhatan Packs to complete this project.  Be sure to bring a Water Bottle and Work Gloves.

Around Noon, after we've worked up an appetite, we can relax and enjoy a Potluck Lunch at the picnic shelter by the river near the Chestnut Trees we planted last summer.  We will check on our trees and install a marker plaque with our Pack number on it.

Once we've had time to fill our bellies and rest up, the Webelos 1 Den will lead a HIKE and everyone is invited to join them.  Each rank has a hike requirement to fulfill, this is the perfect opportunity to knock it out of the Park!

Please use the form to sign up so we know how many to expect.  The Webelos 1 will be working on their Cast Iron Chef and preparing part of our lunch.  We need side dishes, snacks, fruit, veggies, chips, etc.  The Pack will provide beverages and paper products.
